HR Works certified by New York State as Woman-Owned Business Enterprise
HR Works, Inc., has been granted certification as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise by the New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development.
The program is designed to assist the growth and development of businesses owned and controlled by women and minority groups. Certified businesses are listed in a statewide Directory of Certified Minority and Women-Owned Businesses Enterprises, which state agencies and prime contractors use to realize subcontracting goals. MWBE businesses are also eligible for financial and technical assistance programs.
Candace Walters, President of HR Works, notes that “This certification is of value to all of our clients who use our Affirmative Action Services as well as many financial institutions and other clients who have contracts with NYS and the federal government and are seeking a certified business with whom to partner.”
