HR Works hires Berg as HR specialist

HR Works, Inc., has hired Lisa M. Berg, PHR, as an HR specialist. Her new responsibilities include managing the recruitment of human resource professionals and generating employee benefit statements for clients.

Berg has worked as a career advisor and has developed and taught a career planning course. She also is a veteran of the staffing industry.

She earned a B.A. in psychology and sociology from SUNY Potsdam and is working toward an M.S. in counselor education at SUNY Brockport, with a specialty in career counseling. Berg is a certified Professional in Human Resources, a designation granted by the testing component of the Society for Human Resource Management.

She lives in Webster with her husband, Robert, and one child.
