Conflict resolution through mediation is topic of HR Works' executive human resource forum
Conflict in the workplace - or anywhere people gather
- is inevitable. In business, unresolved conflict costs money, wastes time and damages morale.
Fortunately, recent developments in the use of
mediation and arbitration as tools are revolutionizing the way businesses
address conflict in order to minimize distraction and quickly return to a focus
on productivity.
To acquaint executives with the latest refinements in these processes, HR Works, Inc., will
present “Conflict Resolution in the Workplace: The Mediation Solution,” a
senior-level briefing scheduled for Dec. 5 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at
255 Woodcliff Drive, first-floor conference room. The
program will be presented by Margaret Supinski, human resources professional
and director of Mediation Works; and Sharon Stiller, Esq., attorney and litigator
with Underberg & Kessler LLP. To illustrate the effectiveness of these
tools, Supinski and Stiller will conduct a sample mediation session.
Designed for CEOs, company presidents, vice presidents, CFOs, controllers and HR executives, “Conflict Resolution in the
Workplace” is part of the HR Works series called HR NetWorks: The
Executive Human Resources Forum, which addresses advanced-level issues and
case studies that directly impact organizations’ strategic initiatives and
profitability.
The cost for the program is $20 per person, including
continental breakfast.
