Kate Leunig has been named Vice President, Professional Development at HR Works, Inc. An 11-year employee of the company, Ms. Leunig previously served as Director of Training and Development.
In this position, Ms. Leunig regularly develops and conducts seminars, workshops and supervisor training on a full range of human resource and employment law issues. In addition, she advises clients on employee relations, compliance, performance management and training matters. Leunig is also responsible for managing the Human Resource function for HR Works. She has more than 27 years of human resource management experience.
Ms. Leunig holds a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin. She is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management, NHRA and the American Society for Training and Development. Ms. Leunig also serves on the Advisory Board for Graduate Human Resource Development of St. John Fisher College. She lives in Perinton with her husband, Mark Leunig, and has three grown children.
Susan O’Brien has been named Vice President, Outsourcing Services at HR Works, Inc. Ms. O’Brien previously served as Director, Outsourcing Services.
In her new position, O’Brien manages client relationships and directs HR Works’ field of consultants who provide full-time, part-time and/or interim on-site HR management and consulting services to clients of all sizes.
O’Brien has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, primarily in the high-tech, manufacturing and service industries. She has developed and implemented strategic HR business plans, and has particular expertise in applying technology to create efficiencies and optimize resources.
O’Brien holds a Master’s degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree from The College of Wooster. She resides in Pittsford.
