Your HR Works benefits team will:

Handle Benefits Administration

  • Process new hires, terminations and life event changes
  • Audit and reconcile carrier invoices to the penny
  • Conduct eligibility audits
  • Handle carrier relations and resolve any issues
  • Provide benefits communication, such as new hire packets, benefits-at-a-glance and employee open enrollment meetings and support
  • Compile custom reports that turn data into information you can use
  • Manage the electronic reporting of data changes to insurance carriers

Manage Benefits Compliance

  • Distribute required information to new employees
  • Distribute required notices to employees, including COBRA, HIPAA and Medicare Part D
  • Coordinate claim filings for short-term and long-term disability, as well as life and AD&D claim filings
  • Send notices to employees regarding FMLA, workers' compensation and disability and explain what happens to their benefits when they are out of work
  • Distribute COBRA, HIPAA and insurance conversion forms at termination and loss of eligibility
