Affirmative Action Plan Development
The cornerstone of an effective affirmative action program is a well-written affirmative action plan (AAP). HR Works’ affirmative action project managers work one-on-one with you to develop a fully compliant plan that is customized to meet your organization’s needs.
Your affirmative action plan will contain these sections:
- Narrative for Women and Minorities
- Customized Action-Oriented Programs
- Workforce Analysis
- Job Group Analysis
- Availability Analysis, customized to recruitment practices
- Comparison of Incumbency to Availability
- Annual Goals Report
- Progress on Prior Year’s Goals
- Impact Ratio Analysis on employment activity
- Compensation Analysis
- Narrative for Covered Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities
When the AAP development process begins, our affirmative action consultants will walk you through the data that is required to develop a compliant AAP. If data collection processes are not already in place at your organization, we will provide the consultation necessary for you to implement them. Our sample forms library, which is accessible to clients at no additional charge, will provide the tools you need.
For clients with multiple affirmative action plans, HR Works prepares a Summary Matrix that provides a company-wide summary of AAP results by plan and job group.
Inevitably, some affirmative action plans are audited by the OFCCP each year. You can depend on HR Works' affirmative action consultants to prepare the materials that need to be submitted and to support your organization throughout the audit.
