Creating workplaces inclusive of people with disabilities is a business imperative. How an employer engages, develops, recognizes, and supports job applicants and employees is critical to creating a diverse pool of talent in the workplace, and, more importantly, optimizing the productivity of every worker to increase job satisfaction and business performance. Disability inclusion results when good accommodation processes and practices are normalized into the workplace. Normalizing inclusion through accommodations requires tools, techniques, and technologies. Many of these are embedded within the no cost Workplace Accommodation Toolkit and Mobile Accommodation Solution app.
This session will feature the JAN Accommodation Toolkit and the new, free Mobile Accommodation Solution (MAS) APP. Participants will leave with the tools, techniques, and technologies necessary for institutionalizing inclusion and ensuring the longevity of disability inclusion efforts.
